Someone recently grabbed me and said, “Pastor, you’re talking about the kingdom all the time. You’re always talking about ‘kingdom this and kingdom that.’ What is the kingdom?”

The kingdom is a lot of things. It is the righteous rule of Christ, the reign of God within our lives and our circumstances, but it boils down to three basic concepts:

• Salvation
• Deliverance
• Healing

Wherever the kingdom is, people are going to get saved. People will be delivered, bondages will be broken, and things that have overwhelmed you will be removed. You will experience freedom in the Kingdom of God.  

We’ve had an outbreak and it’s not the flu. We’ve had an outbreak of healing. There have been people in our congregation who didn’t make it to the altar, but experienced healing while sitting in their chair because God’s everywhere. He can reach you no matter where you are. That’s the kingdom coming on us—breaking into our gathering. That’s the Kingdom of God.
