It is Only the Beginning

This past week I believe we put some supernatural things in motion through our commitment to fast and pray during the Mayor of Tucson's proclamation. Jan stood on the platform a week ago Sunday and the Lord is renaming Tucson. It will be a place of freedom and redemption. Much like Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to a celebration, we believe Jesus came into Tucson to offer resurrection life.

God is at work in this city and this region of Arizona. We are standing in faith and we will see the fruits of our labor from our time of fasting and prayer this past week. God is performing a miracle for an economic turnaround for the city of Tucson and southern Arizona. And if you were a part, you need to take courage knowing it started with you!

Please continue to stand in faith. We will believe the report of the Lord. We can't wait to hear what the Lord has done. Send your testimonies of what you see God doing in your family and in your community as a result. This is just the beginning of the turnaround! You ain't seen nothing yet! It's time for transformation in the heart of men, and the heart of our city!

Then Jesus, the anger again welling up within him, arrived at the tomb. It was a simple cave in the hillside with a slab of stone laid against it. Jesus said, "Remove the stone." The sister of the dead man, Martha, said, "Master, by this time there's a stench. He's been dead four days!" Jesus looked her in the eye. "Didn't I tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" Then, to the others, "Go ahead, take away the stone." I know you always do listen, but on account of this crowd standing here I've spoken so that they might believe that you sent me." Then he shouted, "Lazarus, come out!" And he came out, a cadaver, wrapped from head to toe, and with a kerchief over his face. Jesus told them, "Unwrap him and let him loose." That was a turnaround for many of the Jews who were with Mary. They saw what Jesus did, and believed in him.

Pastor Zane and Jan -- Think of you often. It was a precious, growing time that we shared with you and your family at MCC. I am delighted to watch how God is using what He has instilled in the both of you to the exhalation of His Kingdom.

Our daughters' father-in-law, Rev. George Elrod, a retired A/G pastor, who had over 60 years in ministry service has often said "God does the supernatural so naturally that only the spiritually alert are aware of it." You and Jan are some of His spiritually alert and are a great blessing to all who have received from your wisdom. I have prayed often for you and Jan. Our love and regards to you and your entire family.
